From the coast to the mountains, embark on a scenic autumn walk through Jinguashi. This route is rich with both natural and cultural beauty — passing through old mining sites, movie locations, and golden hills covered in silver grass swaying in the breeze.

Led by professional bilingual guides (English-Chinese, licensed tour leaders, EMT2-certified), this relaxed and safe journey allows you to fully enjoy the mountain-and-sea views and the mining heritage of Jinguashi.

  • - Each participant is covered by travel insurance: NT$2 million for accidental death/disability and NT$200,000 for medical coverage.
  • - All guides are training for safety and emergency handling.
  • - Participants must follow the guide’s instructions throughout the trip.
  • - The pace is relaxed, but participants should be able to walk 3–4 hours on mountain trails.
  • - Please wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring rain gear, sun protection, and drinking water.
  • - In case of bad weather, the trip may be postponed or canceled. You may transfer to another Taiwan Pathfinder trip (5% handling fee applies for refunds).

Trip Cancellation or Rescheduling Due to Weather

  • - Force Majeure: If the trip cannot proceed due to events such as a land typhoon warning, earthquake, cold wave, heavy rain advisory (as defined by the Central Weather Administration), road closures, or restrictions imposed by management authorities, a refund will be issued after deducting a 5% administrative fee.
  • - Poor Weather Forecast: If adverse weather such as continuous rain or an incoming cold front may affect the trip quality, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment. The final decision will be announced no later than 3 days before departure. If we decide to cancel the trip, a refund will be issued after deducting a 5% administrative fee.

Cancellation Due to Personal Reasons

  • - Cancel 14 days before departure: Refund minus a 5% administrative fee.
  • - Cancel 8–13 days before departure: 20% of the booking fee will be deducted.
  • - Cancel 3–7 days before departure: 30% of the booking fee will be deducted.
  • - Cancel within 2 days of departure: No refund.

Minimum Participant Requirement

  • - If the minimum participant number is not reached and the trip is canceled, participants may choose to reschedule for free or receive a refund with a 5% administrative fee deducted.
