The Beitou DaPao Rock Climbing Area is located in Beitou District, Taipei City, near the Datun Mountain Range. It is one of the few natural climbing sites within Taipei City and is highly popular among climbing enthusiasts. the second-highest peak in Taiwan, boasts panoramic views, diverse alpine flora, and a unique opportunity to witness the beauty of Taiwan's glacial cirques.

  • - Climbing gear (helmet, harness, climbing shoes)
  • - Professional guide services and English support
  • - Specific activity insurance
  • - Each participant is provided with specific activity insurance: NT$2,000,000 accidental death and disability coverage, NT$200,000 medical reimbursement insurance
  • - Guides are trained in first aid and emergency handling
  • - Guide-to-participant ratio is kept at no more than 1:6 to ensure quality and safety standards
  • - We provide full equipment, and participants should follow guide instructions to ensure safety
  • - Please wear comfortable, breathable outdoor clothing and bring a windproof or waterproof jacket in case of changing weather.
  • - Prepare around 2 liters of water, lunch, and sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc.).
  • - If you have your own climbing shoes, we recommend bringing them for a better fit; climbing shoes are also provided, though sizes may not be perfect.
  • - All essential climbing equipment (harness, helmet, etc.) and activity insurance will be provided, so you can enjoy the activity worry-free.
  • - If you have any special needs or health conditions, please inform us during registration so we can make appropriate arrangements.
  • - A detailed trip briefing, including weather suggestions and final reminders, will be sent 3 days before departure to help you prepare.

Trip Cancellation or Rescheduling Due to Weather

  • - Force Majeure: If the trip cannot proceed due to events such as a land typhoon warning, earthquake, cold wave, heavy rain advisory (as defined by the Central Weather Administration), road closures, or restrictions imposed by management authorities, a refund will be issued after deducting a 5% administrative fee.
  • - Poor Weather Forecast: If adverse weather such as continuous rain or an incoming cold front may affect the trip quality, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment. The final decision will be announced no later than 3 days before departure. If we decide to cancel the trip, a refund will be issued after deducting a 5% administrative fee.

Cancellation Due to Personal Reasons

  • - Cancel 14 days before departure: Refund minus a 5% administrative fee.
  • - Cancel 8–13 days before departure: 20% of the booking fee will be deducted.
  • - Cancel 3–7 days before departure: 30% of the booking fee will be deducted.
  • - Cancel within 2 days of departure: No refund.

Minimum Participant Requirement

  • - If the minimum participant number is not reached and the trip is canceled, participants may choose to reschedule for free or receive a refund with a 5% administrative fee deducted.
