You will learn how to belay correctly as a belayer, and how to stay safe as a climber — including placing quickdraws, clipping in, and finally lowering back to the ground. This is a professional course on lead climbing. All training and practice will take place directly at outdoor climbing sites, where you will learn how to handle various situations, such as lead falls and Z-clipping techniques. You must already be familiar with top-rope climbing skills before enrolling in this course.

Our goal is for you to become an independent climber who can confidently lead outdoors, recognize hazards, and protect both yourself and your climbing partner. This course also lays a solid foundation for those who wish to continue advancing in climbing in the future.

  • - Rock climbing equipment (helmet, harness, climbing shoes, belay device)
  • - Professional instruction and English-speaking service
  • - Specific activity insurance
  • - Shared equipment (dynamic rope)
  • - Specific activity insurance for each participant: NT$2,000,000 accidental death and disability coverage, and NT$200,000 injury medical expense coverage (actual expenses)
  • - All guides are trained in first aid and accident management
  • - Guide-to-participant ratio does not exceed 1:6, ensuring activity quality and safety standards
  • - We provide a full set of equipment; please follow the guide’s instructions to ensure safety
  • - Please wear comfortable, breathable clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor activities, and bring a windproof or waterproof jacket. Don’t forget food, water, and insect repellent.
  • - If you have your own climbing shoes, we recommend bringing them for a better fit; we also provide climbing shoes, but sizes may not fit perfectly.
  • - All necessary climbing equipment (harness, helmet, etc.) and activity insurance are provided, so you can participate with peace of mind.
  • - If you have any special needs or health conditions, please inform us in advance during registration so we can make appropriate arrangements.
  • - To help you prepare with confidence, we will send a complete pre-departure notice three days before the trip, including weather advice and final reminders.

Trip Cancellation or Rescheduling Due to Weather

  • - Force Majeure: If the trip cannot proceed due to events such as a land typhoon warning, earthquake, cold wave, heavy rain advisory (as defined by the Central Weather Administration), road closures, or restrictions imposed by management authorities, a refund will be issued after deducting a 5% administrative fee.
  • - Poor Weather Forecast: If adverse weather such as continuous rain or an incoming cold front may affect the trip quality, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment. The final decision will be announced no later than 3 days before departure. If we decide to cancel the trip, a refund will be issued after deducting a 5% administrative fee.

Cancellation Due to Personal Reasons

  • - Cancel 14 days before departure: Refund minus a 5% administrative fee.
  • - Cancel 8–13 days before departure: 20% of the booking fee will be deducted.
  • - Cancel 3–7 days before departure: 30% of the booking fee will be deducted.
  • - Cancel within 2 days of departure: No refund.

Minimum Participant Requirement

  • - If the minimum participant number is not reached and the trip is canceled, participants may choose to reschedule for free or receive a refund with a 5% administrative fee deducted.
