This is a professional course that teaches you how to lead climb. You will learn how to belay correctly as a belayer, and how to stay safe as a climber — including placing quickdraws, clipping in, and finally lowering back to the ground. If you want to continue exploring more advanced climbing techniques, mastering this skill is essential.
This is a professional course on lead climbing. All training and practice will take place directly at outdoor climbing sites, where you will learn how to handle various situations, such as lead falls and Z-clipping techniques. You must already be familiar with top-rope climbing skills before enrolling in this course.
Our goal is for you to become an independent climber who can confidently lead outdoors, recognize hazards, and protect both yourself and your climbing partner. This course also lays a solid foundation for those who wish to continue advancing in climbing in the future.
